Haagen-Dazs has a new ice cream bar and we would be remiss in our duties if we did not heartily recommend this little piece of heaven on a stick. This little delicious morsel is called:
the mint and dark chocolate ice cream bar (sic).
But first, some caveats:
This blogger is not a mint ice cream fan and often turn up ones nose at the pedestrian mint chocolate chip offerings offered everywhere.
While one would confess to being a bonafide chocoholic, mint flavored chocolate has routinely been a disappointment to our taste buds. And mint ice cream, with that ugly bright green color, has never rated as high on the flavor ladder with us as some other flavors (pick one).
This mint ice cream however, is mint ice cream done right! Dark chocolate flavored with real mint that bring our taste buds to ecstasy. And the ice cream! Reader, there is nothing to dislike about Haagen-Dazs ice cream! It is creamy, smooth and tastes amazing! The mint ice cream is white with no food coloring, thank creation, and it is creamy, subtle, and delicious! The union of the two kicked this writer's food loving ass!
We must warn you however, this flavor is hard to find, and once found, hardly ever in stock! We strongly recommend stocking up with a box of six.
