Sunlight in a tube

This is the kind of cool stuff I live for! Scientists have designed a tube that sends sunlight from a collector on the roof to indoor rooms that may not get enough natural lighting. On cloudy days, when there may not be enough light, indoor sensors turn on electric lights so that there is sufficient lighting. Very uber-cool! Read more at Sunlight in a tube
