Blinkx.com Or Google video search revisited

On a recent post about Google Video Search, a couple of comments pointed me towards Blinkx. While it does look pretty cool, it seems to require RealPlayer to view video, and I hate RealPlayer. It also looks like they have a desktop search tool (at Blinkx.com) that you can download and use on your desktop. Has anybody out there tried it? Drop us a line if you have.
